APPOINTMENT

  1. What are your hours of operation?

Signature Breast Care is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
We are closed on major holidays.
  1. How do I make an appointment?

If you need to be seen by Dr. Hampton, please call our number at (301) 552-7805 to schedule an appointment. You can save time by completing New Patient History Form in advance.   
  1. How do I prepare for my First Appointment?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment and bring:
  •  Identification (government-issued, such as a driver’s license)

  • Referral form from primary care/referring doctor

  • Insurance card

  • Co-pay as stated by your insurance company.

  • Imaging studies (we need to see the film or a CD of the images) and reports

    • Mammograms/Ultrasound/MRI/

    •  X-rays

·         Test Results

·         Any other clinical information from your doctor or the emergency room

**Please note:  if any of the above items are missing, your appointment will have to be rescheduled 

  1. Length of Appointment?

            A new patient appointment can run between 30 minutes to 60 minutes.

  1. Will my procedure be performed on the day of my first appointment?

This will depend on your insurance type.  Some plans will allow us to perform the biopsy in our office on the same day others will have to be scheduled on another day.  Your first appointment with Dr. Hampton will be a consultation, where she will meet with you, perform a physical examination, review films and labs and speak to you regarding your condition.  Dr. Hampton will determine if a biopsy is necessary.

  1. Cancellation Policy

We request 24 hours notice if you need to cancel so that we may accommodate another patient.  Failure to comply will result in a cancellation fee (call office for fee amount)

  1. What if I don't have insurance, how will I be billed? Do you support a payment plan?

If you do not have insurance, a deposit is required on your date of service. Payment plans are available under certain circumstances; however, advance notice and pre-approval is required. Please contact our Billing Office at (301) 552-7805 for more information.  Please refer to our payment methods.
